Mr Edward Hopgood joined Brave Hearts Children’s Charity Executive Committee in 1992 Eddie who was
well known as a local builder spent many hours in the building trade, and his work was well received
and respected. Any spare time Eddie had he devoted firstly to his much loved family, any spare
weekends left he donated his support to Brave Hearts Children's Charity along with his dear wife Jo.
Another past time and favourite topic of Eddies was the unexplained theories of ufo’s and
sightings of mysterious lights seen in the midnight sky, Eddie even found time to write a book about
the subject, which was successfully published. Eddie will be sadly missed I’m sure by many friends
and team volunteers who he personally supported at so many Brave Hearts fundraising events.

Goodbye our dear friend, May you rest in Peace. - Passed away Peacefully 21st February 2008
